Hi guys, just thought I would show you a little something you can do with your resin! I take a piece of wood, sand it, cut the photo to best fit the frame, spray the back of the photo with Spray adhesive, mount it on to the frame, wait for it to dry, be sure to put the frame on something like a can or something like that so that the extra resin can drip down without your frame getting stuck to it, then pour resin over it, as the resin drips of the sides, with a piece of stick or something, wipe the under edge of the frame so you dont have the resin drips! My daughters photo has been mounted for almost 20 years, and it still looks great, so its going to be in there for ever! ๐ If you give it a shot, I would love to know how it turned out! ๐ Good luck!

WOW!!!! That is AWESOME!!! Is that decopage? The baby is so beautiful! wow she’s 19 now? You don’t look old enough to have a 19 yr old!
Girl, you got so much talent! That is GORGEOUS!!!
@miagirl Aww, thank you hun! Yes, she will be 20 in May, she’s away in college so I dont get to see her very often ๐ The product I use is called Envirotex Lite Pour-On High Gloss Finish, I get it at Michaels, if you put a pic in there its going to be there for ever, and it looks so nice and different. Jazmin’s photo has been there for 19 years! ๐
@miagirl Oh,I forgot to answer the decoupage question… I dont decoupage over it, because its a photo I feel there is no need because its smooth and will not bleed with the resin, just glue the pic and pour the resin. ๐
Wow, pretty! looks complicated. I love new projects.
That is beautiful! I am so glad you showed us this project. I am going to try it!
@mrscrafty100 Oh ok…I heard you say resin AFTER i commented..haha ๐
Wow…those are awesome!
@mrscrafty100 19 yrs? wow..it looks brand spankin new! I am gonna have to go to Michael’s and check that out.
@SoapLoversUnite Yeeyyyy, Let me know how it turns out, if you have any questions let me know! ๐
@Seedcovers Thanks! You’d be surprise at how simple it is, it just takes a little patience because you have to keep making sure you get all the little bubbles as they come up and keep wiping off the little drips that fall from the edge of the frame, other than that, its fun to make! ๐
@miagirl Yes, check it out, and if you decide to try it let me know how it turned out ๐
